Free WiFi on all Public Transport in Moscow

From now on, Moscow is set to provide passengers with WiFi access on its entire public transport network.

According to reports in the Russian capital, the transport company, which is in the midst of installing WiFi across its famous subway system, have added connectivity on buses and trams above ground.

Today’s statistic – 85% of buses, trolleybuses and trams feature Wi-Fi.
 
The entire fleet is expected to be outfitted with Wi-Fi by the year end. Those vehicles where Wi-Fi is already available are marked with stickers. To connect to the Internet, select Mosgortrans_Free from the list of the available networks, and complete a brief SMS authorisation process. All future connections are automatic.
