Russian E-visa: Approved Border Crossing Points
A unified Russian e-visa can be used to enter and leave Russia only through border crossing points approved by the Government of the Russian Federation. This restriction applies to both your arrival and your departure. Before booking your journey, check that both checkpoints are on the approved list. The checkpoints below are grouped by transport type, using the names in the official list. Check current border arrangements before you travel.
For eligibility, application details and visa assistance, see our Russian e-visa guide.
Arriving by air: If you arrive on an international flight at one of the approved international airports listed below, using a unified e-visa is generally straightforward. Check that your arrival and departure airports are on the list.
Travelling by car or motorbike: Pay particular attention to your route. Unified e-visas are not accepted at every land border crossing, so you will not be able to use your e-visa at a crossing that is not approved. Check your exact entry and exit points in the road checkpoints list before travelling.
What to do if your checkpoint is not listed: If your planned border crossing point is not on the approved list, you will need to apply for a standard tourist visa.

Check before you travel
Make sure your planned entry and exit points accept unified e-visas and are operating for your intended route and travel dates. A checkpoint approved for one transport type should not be assumed to accept arrivals by another transport type.
