Montana is a real cowboy style saloon and features a big wagon as its centerpiece and is the only place in Saint Petersburg specializing in steaks and whisky drinking. The steaks here are 3 centimeters thick and are cooked on the real American stove 'Josper' which does not use gas or electricity but ecologically pure wooden charcoal. The meat is of selected quality beef and pork. Crispy bacon, fried mushrooms, cheese, onion rings, pickled cucumbers tomatoes and lettuce leaves - served with French fries. Whiskeys are presented in a big range: Scottish whiskey, Irish whiskey, American bourbons and of course, Johnnie Walker. There is a special offer for sport fans; they have the facility of broadcasting football matches on large screens.

What's in a name? Judging by the popularity of this Mexican restaurant, not a lot. 'La Cucaraca' is Spanish for 'cockroach'. Fortunately though, the place is not visibly infested, except by a steady stream of hungry customers eager to lap up the (reasonably) cheap and cheerful food. Some seating is provided by bench-style seating running round the perimeter of metal tables what adds to the "cantina" impression. This eatery is popular with tourists and ex-pat residents, and gets incredibly crowded at weekends, when there is also live Mexican music.
