Walk past the two white stone lions guarding the entrance to the restaurant and you find yourself in a Chinese Modern interior typical of Hong Kong. All of the restaurant's chefs have been brought in from southern China, where the cuisine has its own distinctive features. The menu includes some masterpieces of Chinese cuisine, including jellyfish roulette with Chinese cabbage, fried chrysanthemums with shrimps, turtle soup with dates, or 'Belochka' (fried cod in a sweet-and-sour sauce). Those who prefer something exotic can try a very special dish: a live snake is dissected and prepared in front of the guests. Every evening from Thursday to Sunday the restaurant hosts live music and a belly-dancing show entertains guests from 8 p.m. onwards.

This is an excellent Chinese restaurant hidden from the tourists on a small street not far from the central Sennaya Ploshchad. The decor is fairly standard for a Chinese restaurant - yes, there's even a little wooden bridge over a rippling stream - and the friendly Russian staff are decked out in Chinese gear. The excellent menu is in Russian and English and there's a good selection of wines from near and far.
