Volga – Don Navigation Canal and MuseumThe idea of constructing a canal connecting Volga and Don, two mighty rivers in Western Russia, goes back to the Russian Emperor Peter the Great. However, due to various reasons his plans were abandoned. Alongside world-renowned paintings sit treasured icons, antique coins and exquisite jewelry which once belonged to the Tsar. Dedicated to the city's historical siege and defense of Leningrad during the Second World War, moving displays show the famine-ravaged city and the heroic efforts made to somehow get food in from beyond the blockade. More than one million people died during the blockade. Their sacrifice and the extraordinary endurance of the survivors remains a source of both immense pride and profound sorrow.

We are very happy to have served thousands of happy customers who travelled with us.
Fantastic knowledge of the guides, made the trip much more enjoyable.
Everything ran like clockwork from booking, visa application and tour itself. I would recommend this company to anyone.
Well organised, good itinerary, excellent and friendly tour guides.
Guides excellent. Accommodation in Volgograd awesome
I thought the guides were informative. I learned a lot about Russia. I am glad I went to Russia to see it for myself.
The organisation was superb. The guides everywhere were excellent and the core tour - Hero cities of Russia - was very well structured. All the hotels were centrally located and within easy reach of points of interest and transport hubs. Also, the visa checking facility was very important.
Our tour guides were excellent: Elena (Moscow), Paul (Volgograd), Marina (Moscow), Natasha and Tat'yana (St Petersburg). All guides were very good and accommodating. One big highlight for us was the guides who were willing to talk about their own lives. It was so interesting to learn how people in Russia live. All of us were extremely satisfied with your tours and services.
Guides were friendly & personable. A joy to spend time with them.
Tour guide were all very good but the one in Moscow was extremely knowledgeable and patient with our requests. Hotels in Volgograd and St Petersburg were excellent, the Katerina in Moscow only ok but the staff helpful. We very much enjoyed our trip, thanks for your help.
The guide in Volgograd was excellent with a good knowledge of the events of the great patriotic war. Hotels were fine and we had no adverse issues or problems at all during the trip.
